It's a place where people not only get in shape but are learning how to protect themselves and turn their bodies into a weapon!

We Empower people to Build Self Esteem and Be Confident! I want people to not only know how to protect themselves but to have common sense when it comes to being safe for themselves, their kids and their families!"

Meet Christina Rondeau

The Beginning:  In 1990, Christina Rondeau stepped into a Martial Arts studio and never left. She fell in love with the art and it's values. Christina didn't know it but while she was attending college her true career  was unfolding in front of her. She earned her Black Belt and was competing in Sport Karate Tournaments all over the United States and Europe. As a recipient of over 200 trophies and awards from martial arts tournaments and being the women's overall fighting champion 2 years in a row, Christina decided to take another step in her Martial Arts career and began Kickboxing. After an unbeatable amateur record, Christina turned Professional in 1998.

As a professional: As a member of the USA WAKO Kickboxing team she has traveled all over the world competing in Kickboxing tournaments. Not only as a Professional Kickboxer but as a coach of several women fighters. She has others winning titles by her side. Her knowledge and experience is invincible. As a Professional Kickboxer, Christina achieved her goal of being the best by fighting LIVE on Pay Per View and winning the United States Light Weight Title.

The switch to Boxing: As of March 2000, Christina also made her debut as a Professional Boxer and she was immediately endorsed by Puma. She has appeared in over 200 newspaper articles and has been seen on NESN Sports, Cosmopolitan Magazine "Fun, Fearless, Female" Award Winner, YM Magazine, The Maury Povich show and local news channels.

In 2005 Christina joined a team of Professionals with mentor Dr. Jerrold Rosenberg, MD at the Sports Medicine and Performance Enhancement Center. Christina was invited to be one of Health Magazine's "Celebrity Fitness Instructors" and taught for Health Magazine in NYC, October 2005. Christina is also the author of  two books that are being released in 2006.  The books titled "Power Parent" & "The Elements of Staying Safe" will be available on this website and at all major bookstores across the United States.

Power Parent Christina has also teamed up with the USKBA and will be releasing an instructional video that will be marketed to martial art schools and health clubs world wide. This video "Xtreme Fitness" teaches others how to implement her unique workout in their facilities. Christina currently has 2 DVD's available for home work outs and continues to work on new  releases. "Fitness Kickboxing: The Real Work Out" and "Million Dollar Boxing with a Kick" are both available online today! Whether you watch a video or take a class Christina is assured to give you a work out you won't forget !

Christina was chosen as a member of Chuck Norris's new show: The World Combat League and will be on The New England Strikers. The teams first challenge was held at the Mohegan Sun Casion in Ct on Jan. 21, 2006. Christina was the crowd favorite and won her first fight with the WCL. She was also nominated and chosen to be in the Martial Arts Black Belt Hall of Fame and was a part of the official ceremony in NY, February of 2006.

As of April 2006, Christina made her debut as an actress in a music video, aired on MTV for the Hardcore band "Sick of it All."   In October of 2006, Christina began her book discussion and book signing tour for, "The Elements of Staying Safe", her tour began at Borders in Cranston, RI.. As of November 2006, a new facility location was opened in Johnston, RI and Christina prepared for possible fights in 2007.

"Power Parent" was released in January of 2007 and started off with a Grand Entry at the "Get Hooked on Health" Expo in St. Louis, MO. Christina was a celebrity guest at the expo where she made several television and radio appearances,  signed her books, and taught the crowd how to "Fight Like a Girl." The Oxygen network sponsored the main stage and Christina signed autographs at their booth after the "Fight Like a Girl" instructional.

In May of 2007, Christina was chosen by an LA production company to be the star of a training series starring, "Christina Rondeau."  The company, Varuna Entertainment, which produces "Trick my Truck" came to her Johnston, RI gym to film for several days. The pilot will be created and the company will pitch the pilot to several networks. At this time the name or description can not be released but this was an incredible and fun experience for Christina and her family. Hopefully the pilot will be picked up and everyone will watch Christina in action!!

On June 16, 2007, Christina was honored at the West Warwick Civic Center in front of fighters, fans and friends as a leader and role model for women in the sport of Kickboxing and for her tireless efforts and accomplishments over the years. Shihan Jonas Nunez, Jr., the President of the Professional Kickboxing Federation called her into the ring to award her the rank of Shihan Christina Rondeau, 5th Degree Black Belt.

In Feruary 2008, Christina has been holding Family Fitness events at local schools and is participating in an event in Providence, RI called PEACE PROVIDENCE. This event is all about stopping violence against women and girls. Christina will be teaching self defense and safety during the event and will hold a book signing at the conclusion of it.

Real Trainng Drills is up and running! Christina has created a website where any athlete, trainer, fitness enthusiast or Martial Artist can go to for motivation, training drills or just a workout at home or on the road! This site is www.realtrainingdrills.com  and as of 2008 it has over 100 different clips and workouts for members to view. As of 2007 when it was launched this was the FIRST site to offer any professional or fitness enthusiasst a chance to learn more drills at home or work in seconds.

GIRL FIGHT USA on Facebook - the creation of Christina Rondeau has been launched. This is an official ranking and promoting site that will help bring female fighters the recognition they deserve in the world of fighting. Even at the Amateur level females don't get the respect they deserve and with the creation of Girl Fight USA Christina hopes to bring it!

May 2008 -  Rondeau's Kickboxing is featured in several local publications for holding safety classes at several local elementary schools. Christina Rondeau and her trainers taught over 310 children at one location basic self defense moves and spoke to them about stranger danger and how to stay safe!

May 2008 - Rondeau's Kickboxing has an Open House to celebrate the Grand Opening of Christina Rondeau's 24/7 pass at her facility. Christina had a vision to open up the only all ladies 24/7 facility in the world where ladies only can go and train at anytime day or night using heavy bags, speed bags, cardio equipment, circuit training, free weights and more. This is the first place in the WORLD that a women can go and train using boxing, kickboxing, martial arts equipment anytime!

June 2008 - The release of Christina's offical Instructor Training DVD. This dvd is available to anyone that wants to be an instructor or already is an instructor. It helps them understand the basics of teaching a Real Kickboxing class and how to be an awesome Instructor.

July 2008- Christina Rondeau releases her third dvd, "Million Dollar Boxing with a Kick", this dvd is an at home work out dvd that allows anyone of any fitness level DVD follow along. They will learn how to hit a heavy bag, use free weights and work out with cardio. This video can be done with equipment or in the air with no equipment at all.

September 2008- Christina is the founder of a non-profit foundation called, "The Elements of Staying Safe Foundation." This is named after her first book that she wrote. This Foundations mission is to protect the health and safety of todays youth. An after school fitness program that teaches Fitness, Nutrition and Character Development will start Sept. 08.  The first board meeting was held in August and the foundation is on it's way to helping the community by offering programs and safety awareness talks.  Learn more about thisnon-profit and their mission by visiting the website at www.theelementsofstayingsafe.com.

January 2009: Christina was the featured interview for wfigher.com and she just published her latest book, "Christina Rondeau's Fitness Journal." This journal is everything anyone would need to be successfull at working out. She has also been interviewed by WNRI in RI and WBAI in NY on her book, "Power Parent."

April 2009 - Christina is a guest Expert Instructor at the Martial Arts Synopsiom in NH along side Martial Arts legend Bill Wallace and other martial arts greats.

October 2009 - Congressman James Langevin congratulates Rondeau's Kickboxing with an offical "Certificate of Special Recognition" presented to The Rondeau Family in celeberation of the opening RKB West Warwick.

January 2010 - Christina launches Rockfightgear.com a new label on her equipment line that will be sold at martial arts, boxing, kickboxing schools and numerous sporting good stores. The label name is after her son Cotey Rock.

Feb. 2010 -The reality show, "Transform You" begins filming. Stay tuned to see what channel will pick this show up starring Christina Rondeau as the Trainer and following the journey of several different clients.

April 2010 Christina Rondeau and several RKB students competes in several local events Cox ½ Marathon 13 miles, Rugged Maniac and other local charity events helping to raise money for the community and great causes.
 
July 2010 - RKB holds the first RED BELT Testing where several Trainers & Assistant Trainers were put through a series of challenges to achieve the first ever RED BELT Level. Candidates had to perform community services, write an essay and were put through physical and mental challenges.
 
Oct. 2010 - Christina is a Celebrity Model in the RISE fundraiser fashion show.
 
November 2010 - RKB President Christina Rondeau traveled to Florida for AMS Seminars.Christina Rondeau is inducted into the AMS Martial Arts Hall of Fame. At a black tie award dinner Christina Rondeau is in the history books and is recognized as a superior athlete and leader in the Martial Arts Hall of Fame.


February 2011 – Rock Fight Club lists several Kickboxing Fights it will hold through the year. Fighters from all over will fight for titles and trophies at the Rock Fight Club venues.

April 2011- RKB’s fifth location was opened in Rhode Island. Currently RKB has 2 locations Woonsocket & Johnston open as of 2013 in RI. 3 locations which were licensed by licensee’s were closed down due to legal issues. Christina Rondeau is the primary owner of Woonsocket & Johnston.

May 2011 – Christina an d her trainers donate time all over New England teaching children how to stay safe. Healthy Kids day, NH Student Days and more are scheduled before the end of the school year.

 

June 2011 – Christina steps in the ring for an exhibition at a local fighting event as a charity.

 

March 2012 – Cotey Rock steps in the ring as a fighter at Rock Fight Clubs Fights and becomes a fighter like his mom. Supported by family and friends the fight is an experience and not  a win or lose bout.May 2012 – RKB’s 5K goes public! Raising awareness for ovarian cancer.

 

June 2012 – Level Testing for members and volunteering at schools all over New England for Healthy Kids DayMay 2012 – FIGHT LIKE A GIRL FUNDRAISER is launched. All sales of the Fight Like a Girl Tshirts will be donated to make a wish come true for a woman nominated as the recipient of each Fight Like a Girl Fundraiser. Ronda Robin was the first recipient and enough money was raised to make her wish of having an elliptical to work out on at home come true. Jessyca Katz was the second recipient and her wish was to have a weekend away with her husband.

 

In March 2013 they were sent to the Berkshires to enjoy a weekend with dinner also included. The next recipient is Nikki Batsford and RKB’s Fight Like a Girl Fundraiser is continuing to sell the shirts and raise money for Nikki’s wish to come true.

 

April 2013 – Christina travels to the Today Show in NYC to launch Fight Back Kids.com a campaign to help keep kids safe. Kids Tip Cards are passed out to the crowd and several copies of her book are left at Good Morning America show and the Today show. The goal is to get Celebrities to help with the campaign providing Public Service Announcements giving tips to kids to help them stay safe.

 

May 2013 – Christina met with Johnston, RI Mayor Polisena as he endorsed the Fight Back Kids.com campaign and she personally delivers over 1,000 kid tip cards to all the elementary schools in Johnston. Handing them to all the Principals to distribute to the children. Her mission continues as each city will be delivered kids tip cards. Press has interviewed Christina and she is feautured in the Providence Journal, Johnston Sunrise and on Ch. 10 as a guest talking about Fight Back kids.

 

October 2013 – Fightlikeadad.com and Dad Strong.net is created to help raise money for all males in need of help when battling cancer, illness, disease or life changing accidents. From boys to men, dad or not dads this cause helps with wishes and assistance just like the Fight Like a Girl cause for the guys. October 27th, 2013 the first Fight Like a Dad 5K was held in Johnston, RI and was a great success with over 100 participants.

May 2014 – Fight Like a Girl Grants their 3rd wish to a women in need “Nicky Batsford” is granted her wish to have an encounter with a Beluga Whale at Mystic Aquarium. Read about their 5K fundraiser and story. Johnston Sunrise 5K Story Fight Like A Girl

 

August 2014 - "KNOCKOUT Wishes" becomes the name of the cause that started as "Fight like a Girl  and Fight like a Dad" cause. Raising money to make wishes come true for those in need fighting cancer and other life changing traumas.

2015 - Brought new skills to students as Christina offered Life Coaching as part of her Training sessions for private training and some specialized challenges. Christina also published, "Hit it!" on amazon and launched some free you tube workout videos feauturing different members. 

2016 - The Launch of a new 6 week Get FIt challenge that is transforming people and creating a big buzz! Rondeau's Kickboxing also joined forces with Sweat Angels a non profit that donates to different causes each month to help make a difference in the world. 

2017 -  Christina begins her Business Coaching with other gym owners and offers training, master classes and more.
Rondeau creates the Rhode Island Professional Athlete Hall of Fame inside her Johnston, RI Location. 
 

2018 - Publishes the book, "How to be Amazing at Changing Lives" available on amazon, launches full podcast campaign and launches her R30 Kickboxing program worldwide to be available in gyms all over the world and kicks off her campaign as a guest speaker with Real Women Providence talking about womens self defense and top 3 safety tips all women should know.
