What is the "Knock Out Wishes" cause?

We Make Wishes Come True

KNOCKING OUT wishes 1 at at time to those
Fighting Cancer & other Life Changing Traumas!

You can nominate a person and explain why they need a "wish."
We ask them what we can do to give them a a happy distraction,
make life a little easier or create a memory that will last a lifetime.

We raise funds to help make this "wish" come true!

A little history below about Knockout Wishes which is Rondeau's Kickboxing helping hand to the community helping to make the
community and the state a better place!

All funds are raised through the amazing members
& community through RKB events.

We are grateful and thannkful for everyone that participates!

We are so happy to say that through the hard work of our Fight Like a Girl 5k's, Paint Night, Kick-a-thons and other events we hold through out the year we have granted 3 wishes to wonderful deserving women and 1 wish to a Dad. We just renamed our cause to "KNOCKOUT Wishes" combining our men and women fund raising evenly into all our events. We are very excited to grow this cause and we are submitting the paperwork for this to be a non profit. We hope you can help our cause grow because it's so nice to see these wishes come true and really see the good that your support has done for these people.

Here is a little breakdown of our wishes we have handed out but please watch the videos and click through the photo gallery to see the faces of the lives we have touched.

Our first wish was to Ronda who asked for an elliptical to work out on at home. We were able to get her a nice elliptical.

Our second wish was to Jessyca who asked for a nice weekend away with her husband so they could have some quality time while she fought brain cancer. We sent Jessyca and her husband to the Berkshires for a weekend and they had a great time. Sadly Jessyca passed away May 2014.

Our third wish was to Nikki who has been undergoing numerous out of state doctor visits and treatments. She wanted to have something fun to look forward to and always wanted to swim wtih a dolphin. We granted her a Beluga Whale experience at Mystic Aquarium where we bought her admission for 2, a gas card and a gift certificate to Mystic Pizza for lunch or dinner.

Our fourth woman Elena sadly passed away before we could grant her wish to her but she asked that any funds raised for her be given to the next woman.

Our fifth wish granted was a Dad had throat and neck cancer, Leo, and was hit by alot of unexpected medical expenses. His wish was to have some help with these bills and we were able to make his wish come true. Leo "Fights like a Dad."

Our sixth woman Tammy we granted her wish to send her to NYC with her family for a weekend! She will be enjoying the sights of the city this December 2014.

Our seventh woman, Yvette is 38 with 4 children and 5 grandchildren and was diagnosed with gestational diabetes at age 14 and had been battling complications due to the disease. In 2013 Yvette had both legs amputated and recently was moved to home and hospice because of an infection that is traveling to organs. Unfortunately the amputation did not stop the infection and she is now in hospice and her last wish is to have a ladies night out on a cruise with her mother, a few aunts and a couple of cousins she grew up with like sisters. Please help us make her wish come true. Sadly Yvette passed away before her wish could be granted. We will make a contribution to the family to help them with her burial.

Ashley's Dad Brad Brad Arnold is a former Rhode Islander, now living in northern New Hampshire, recently diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. We want to help RKB member Ashley visit with her dad during these tough times and we raised funds to help her out and have given her a gas gift card. We wish them the best!	Leo "Fight like a Dad" Fight Like A Dad & Dad Strong was created by Christina Rondeau for her father Leo Rondeau. Leo was diagnosed with throat and tongue cancer and was put through a whirlwind of medical treatments and hit with many unexpected medical expenses. Leo was always a hard worker, a retired policeman who also worked other jobs to give his family a nice life. Many people refer to Leo as a man of integrity and respect. This cause was created to help Leo and others defray some of their costs from unexpected me	Ronda a beautiful Soul Ronda is such a Fighter and was our 1st wish we granted. She wanted an elliptical you can see her in another picture using the elliptical we bought her.
Elena an Angel Sad to say Elena passed away at 44 years old before we could grant her wish. She had stage 3 lung and brain cancer. We sent a Peace Lily to her family form "Fight Like A Girl" and her husband said that Elena wanted any money raised to be passed on to the next wish we would grant. Prayers to the family xo	Our 1st Wish was to Ronda This is Ronda! We made this whole cause because of her... Ronda is still fighting strong and no matter what is thrown her way she finds a positive attitude and continues to "fight like a girl." Ronda wanted to be able to workout at home so we bought her an elliptical for her! We LOVE You Ronda!	Our beautiful Jess We made Jess's wish come true and sent her and her husband Ian away for some quality time in the Berkshires. Sadly Jess passed away in May of 2014. Her memory and spirit forever lives on and I am happy to have met Jess and been one of her many friends in her life.
Nikki's Wish We were very happy to make Nikki's wish come true and have a happy distraction for her to look forward to as she goes through more surgeries. Good Luck Nikki we love you!	Nicky's wish for Mystic We sent Nikki to Mystic Aquarium for a Beluga Whale experience with admission for 2, gave her a gift card to shell and a gift certificate to Mystic Pizza for dinner. Happy we could make a nice lifetime memory for Nikki and give her something to look forward to as she deals with upcoming surgeries! Tammy an inspiration to many I was first diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in 2004 at the age of 29. I fought it and beat it and had gone 9 years before being diagnosed again in 2013 at the age of 38. My cancer is now a stage 4 and it has metastasized to my liver. I am happily married to my best friend Noel. We have a daughter Mia that is 4 years old. These are two of my biggest reasons to fight and survive. In my family we say we are kicking cancers butt!!!

The logo represents the badge that Leo wore as a Woonsocket Policeman and it honors the father of Arlene with a horse shoe and the father of Robin with ocean waves. These two wonderful women have lost their dads to cancer adn the logo honors their memories as a part of this very special campaign. We hope that you will see they symbol as a way to honor all of those that are fighting and those that have lost the fight.
